We believe in diversity and inclusion, that’s why we’re proud to be taking part in DC”s Capital Pride this year. We will be participating in the parade on June 10 along with our partner, Balance Gym, as well as having our own tent at the festival on June 11. Be sure to find us!
The social aspect of the Eagles makes the club more than just a football team. If you’re in Baltimore, drop into Nobles after our games and training for food and drink specials, and if you’re in DC, you’ll find us at Oz Restaurant and Bar after our games and training.
Ten determined teams from Arlington’s Oz Restaurant and Bar were unleashed on the DC metro area armed with a list of tasks, a child-sized footy, and taste for glory. In a race against the clock, players collected points by completing audacious tasks around town. Ultimately, Team Sam & Co edged out runners-up Pink Koalas and Didgeridoodettes for 1st place honors, earning them a $200 prize along with a swig out of the Arctic Cup horn.
Oz Restaurant and Bar hosted our annual Australia Day bash, and what a bash it was! More than 200 packed Oz Bar for a night of Australian food and drinks, and live Australian classics from Aussie expat Jamie Lynch and Band. Special thanks to the hosts, Oz Restaurant and Bar, and our sponsors Balance Gym, Coast2Coast Travel, and Rose Physical Therapy Group for the raffle prizes.
Players, supporters, and strangers gathered at Nobles Bar and Grill to celebrate Australia Day with Koopers, meat pies, and footy on the TVs. The legendary Ian Payne sported the most Australian of outfits, and the raffle prizes featured a bottle of Bundy that got emptied that night.
